Philanthropists met with students

In the  Kherson State University was  meeeting with  the head of the  Charity Foundation Ustin Maltsev with first-year students of the faculty "journalism." The meeting took place with the support and active participation of Vasiliy Zagorodniuk the lecturer Faculty of Literature and Journalism.

 Ustin Maltsev told his life story, what, and what inspired him to create exactly the fund. It is known that the fund is not only aimed at saving the lives of children, but also for renovating cultural heritage of Kherson, the purchase of equipment for the Children's Hospital, visit and care of children in foster homes. All these good deeds deserve deep respect! Not a lot of people nowadays just want to hang, asking nothing in return, to serve and give back to people.

 During the conversation, the students asked many questions about the fund, future development plans, where and how does the money to help the children, and what you need to do to be as successful as Ustin Maltsev.

He also emphasized the fact that everything is in our hands, in the hands of the younger generation, and that the power of each of us to direct the situation to the desired channel.

“Dneprovskaya palitra” introduced young talents at all-Ukrainian level

  The Regional Union of Folk Art "Dneprovskaya palitra" presented the youngest talents of its team at all-Ukrainian exhibition of children's art in Kharkov. The exhibition was held at the gallery "ABSK" where the most talented children of our country participated. This is the second all-Ukrainian exhibition in Ukraine - the first was held in Kiev "Shokoladniy Dom." The next presentations for children are getting ready in Lvov and Moscow.

  Every visitor of the exhibition could plunge into the symbolic world of artists where houses are turned upside down, where Assol sees the scarlet sails under the water, where elephants touch the sun with their trunks, where ships and lozenges can be used as a hat and emerald sheep graze on a pink meadow. Parents take their children to see the world of fantasy and read fairy tales written to illustrate the books.

  Each picture, presented at the exhibition, gives first of all inspiration and a smile, as only in the innocent fairy world of a child’s imagination one can see such bright confusion of images.

  The Union” Dneprovskaya palitra” has developed a number of creative ideas about cooperation with children for the development of creativity.

"We want to introduce our children with a variety of artists in this country, with their unique works so that children could develop their creative inclinations, seeing the paintings where artists have conveyed their thoughts on the canvas and in the text. We want to encourage children to work with paints and brushes, write their own stories. The project is intended to bring up children in the fine culture when they see such works. What we contribute into children in the childhood, becomes their nature in the future, because if they grow seeing such works, they will become talented, have vivid imagination, "- said the head of the Union, Oleg Chernenko.

Ustin Maltsev's fund will take part in the 3rd International conference of psychologists

   On April 26-27, 2012 the 3rd International research and practical conference on "Topical problems of practical psychology" will take place in Kherson state university.
Co-organizers of the international conference are Kherson state university (Ukraine), Vladivostok state medical university of the federal agency of health care and social development (Russia), Grodnensk state university of Yanka Kupala (Belorussia).
   Ustin Mltsev's charity fund will present for all the guests who will come to the conference form all Ukraine's regions, from neighboring and far foreign countries - as a souvenir, a book about Kherson land.
   Professors and Doctors of Psychology will participate in trainings, master classes and round tables on topical problems of practical psychology in the system of psychologists training, development of a child's personality, problems of family relations and many other problems.

Charity Fund of Ustin Maltsev will support the cultural heritage of Kherson region

   Our Kherson region - is the source of culture in the south of Ukraine. The history of our region dates back to the settlements of the ancient Greeks, it was in the VI century BC. Now in the treasury of the region remained a large number of works of art, which carry a tremendous spiritual value for our people and nation in a whole.
   Kherson Regional Art Museum named by A. Shovkunenko - the pearl of art of our region. At the moment, an art museum's collection includes more than 10 000 exhibits and is one of the most interesting museums of Ukraine, where the works of domestic and foreign paintings, drawings, sculpture, decorative arts, ranging from the samples of Russian icon painting of the XVII century and contemporary works of Kherson artists. Unfortunately, due to lack of funding, there is a huge problem with the restoration of museum exhibits, which can lead to complete loss of the masterpieces of art.

   That is why the administration of Kherson Regional Art Museum named by A. Shovkunenko has asked charity fund of Ustin Maltsev to help in the restoration of several paintings from the museum collection. There are four art works from the museum's collection, which need to restore first of all: Shovkunenko A. "Still Life", Nosko V. "The game of checkers", and two portraits (male and female) by an unknown artist, beginning of the XIX century. These masterpieces have are great cultural and historical value to our Kherson region and Ukraine in a whole.
   - Preservation of cultural heritage is the foundation for building a correct and moral future of our society. If we want, that our children will live in a normal and stable country, we must pay attention and support this direction. The development is not possible without cultural values. - Said Ustin Maltsev.

The tournament of Alexandr Beresh took place!

   The holiday of sport took place! It is the eighth year in a row that Kherson regional fund of Alexandr Beresh and its leader Svetlana Beresh gather all sport potential of sport gymnastics of Ukraine in our town. During two days in the framework of Ukrainian tournament "Young gymnast" the spectators observed not childish struggle for the places on the pedestal. "Spectacular, impressive, beautiful", - shared Kherson people their impressions. "Acrobats are so small but so clever, talented and hard working". All the participants got traditionally T-shirts with the tournament logo and the best of them were awarded valuable prizes. Medalists in the I and II categories and candidates in masters of sport were awarded diplomas, medals and money prizes. "Gold" equaled 700 hrivnas, "silver" - 500 hrivnas and "bronze" - 300 hrivnas.

   Hard trainers' work was not left aside, this is why the mentors of today's champions were also awarded money prizes of 500 hrivnas. Among the trainers' one should mention Irina Nadiuk, the leader of the youth sport club "Olympia", Tsherkassi. Results of her gymnasts speak for themselves.
   But not only prizes inspired the acrobats for decent performances. Everyone of them knows the famous Ukrainian sportsman in whose honor these competitions take place. Alexandr Beresh (12.10.1977-29.02.2004) - a double prizewinner of Olympic games, an absolute champion of Europe, a champion of the World Universidad, a multiple winner of championships and cups of Ukraine. His example will always inspire for achievements. Alexandr Beresh was a universal gymnast who mastered all shells. But his favorite one was a crossbar. It is on this shell where Alexandr won most of all medals on the international arena. This is why at every tournament an additional prize for the best shell gymnast is given. Today the winner was Savenko Dmitriy, Kirovograd.
   In one month an acrobat from Tsherkassi, Kovtun Ilya, will be 9 years. A traditional prize of "The youngest participant" in the amount of 500 hrivnas was given to him.
   Many Kherson people visited the tournament. There were also present representatives of government and business, social leaders and charity people. Yatsenko Andrey Anatolievich, the leader of education administration, told to all the audience the appeal of Nikolay Kostyuk, the head of Kherson regional administration, and promised that the sport hall where the event takes place will be repaired according to the European standards this year.
   Ustin Maltsev, head of the charity fund, said that the tournament of Alexandr Beresh has become a tournament of the national scale long time ago. With every year the number of participating regions grows. Name of Alexandr Beresh becomes a sport calling card not only of Kherson but of the whole country. He added that he is happy to be the part of of this holiday of sport and health. Making a conclusion Ustin Maltsev thanked all who made their feasible contribution in the organization of the eighth Ukrainian children's tournament in sport gymnastics "Young Gymnast", all the friends of the tournament who supported its organizer Svetlana Beresh. "Gymnastics is the basis for many kinds of sport, therefore the basis of the nation's health. Only uniting efforts we can revive Olympic glory of Kherson region and raise our children decent Ukrainians."

Ustin Maltsev’s fund saved 3 paintings in the collection of Kherson art museum of Shovkunenko

   Restaurateurs form Kiev who started working on the big project of renewal of cultural heritage of Kherson region came this week. These specialists were in our regional art museum of A.A.Shovkunenko for the first time. They mentioned that we have an excellent collection of paintings in Kherson which are not inferior in their value to any museum in Ukraine. But to keep these art masterpieces for future generations, one needs much time, efforts and money. 
   Bezkrovniy Anatoliy Pavlovich, head of the department of the National scientific restoration centre of Ukraine, said that restoration of paintings is a difficult and time-consuming. Sometimes restoration of a painting may take several years as defects may be different: these may be small scratches as well as harmful microorganisms that damage greatly the painting. Their task is to analyze the painting, to renew it and to give it to the museum. They always make photofixing,that is they make a picture of the painting before and after the restoration.

   Tsitovich Daria Vasilievna and Bezkrovniy Anatoliy Pavlovich made a lot during their two-day trip. First of all they checked in detail paintings in the museum. They already noted those paintings that need urgent renovation. They are 12 in the collection of the museum. They also renewed 3 paintings that have historical and spiritual value for the Ukrainian nation:

- F. Zagorodnyuk "Academician A.Greben" 
- V. Sizikov "Legendary Lioshka"

   Arrival and work of experts from Kiev became possible due to the help of Ustin Maltsev, Kherson businessman, patron and the head of a charity fund. 
Ustin Maltsev said that support and saving of historical values is a necessary and important trend in the development of society. We have to understand this and realize if we want to exist as a nation and as a people. This work has to be considered in the system of governing and control over the country.
   Besides the three paintings that were already renewed, four more paintings need urgent help: A.A.Shovkunenko "Still life", V.P.Nosko "Drafts game", two portraits, a man and a woman, of the beginning of the 19th century by an unknown painter. Renovation of these paintings will be held within the framework of a new social charity action "Let's save our cultural heritage" that will be organized by Ustin Maltsev's charity fund.
