Philanthropists met with students

In the  Kherson State University was  meeeting with  the head of the  Charity Foundation Ustin Maltsev with first-year students of the faculty "journalism." The meeting took place with the support and active participation of Vasiliy Zagorodniuk the lecturer Faculty of Literature and Journalism.

 Ustin Maltsev told his life story, what, and what inspired him to create exactly the fund. It is known that the fund is not only aimed at saving the lives of children, but also for renovating cultural heritage of Kherson, the purchase of equipment for the Children's Hospital, visit and care of children in foster homes. All these good deeds deserve deep respect! Not a lot of people nowadays just want to hang, asking nothing in return, to serve and give back to people.

 During the conversation, the students asked many questions about the fund, future development plans, where and how does the money to help the children, and what you need to do to be as successful as Ustin Maltsev.

He also emphasized the fact that everything is in our hands, in the hands of the younger generation, and that the power of each of us to direct the situation to the desired channel.

Ustin Maltsev’s charity fund made a meeting with students

   This week Ustin Maltsev, head of Kherson charity fund, organized a meeting with students of journalism and philology of Kherson state university. Conversation with the students was held with the support of Vasiliy Stepanovich Zagorodnyuk, teacher of journalism and philology faculty, as well as a talented poet. 
   It is not the first time that Ustin Maltsev talks to students as the basis of understanding between generations and people in general ia laid in communication, exchange of opinions and information. It is so important for us all to be understood and appreciated. Students of primary classes were present at the meeting. It seemed that these young people should have already determined their life positions and know the goals they must fallow. But everything is not so optimistic as young specialists had no idea about how their professional way will look like after the graduation of the university. The students were totally confused and puzzled by the questions Where they would like to work, What they would like to become in future and How much money they would like to get for their job. Can it be true that the youth of today underestimate their capabilities and live according to the principle "let happen what will happen"? Such a situation and way of thinking is absolutely unnatural for a person, especially in modern world that is moving at the high speed, and one has to keep up with it and look for ways of self realization.

   Ustin Maltsev told his story of life which is understood by everyone. As he also was a student, got a higher education, aimed to start his independent life after the graduation of the university. However, as it often turns out, we are not provided with such a store of knowledge and skills, so that we could relax and go with the flow not thinking of anything after getting the diploma. 
   Ustin Maltsev noted with regret that modern teaching does not provide the most important text book, a book that teaches how to become a Person. This book is nominal as one has to learn the basis of good, justice and mercy not theoretically but to practice the skills in everyday life. Such qualities of character as organization, persistence, self perfection, confidence in one's capabilities are very helpful with these practicing. 
   If at least some of the listeners that were present at the meeting realized that they are capable to create harmonious future comfortable for life and, moreover, they are ready to contribute to it right now, it means that Ustin Maltsev's words were not in vain. Even weak sprouts pierce the soil, and what will happen if to water them in time and care of them. This is how with the right word and advice Ustin Maltsev helped young "sprouts" to find power for raising and longing to the light.

   Only our Slavic people celebrate a holiday as the Old New Year. Traditionally, it celebrates two weeks after the "usual" New Year - from 13 to 14 January. It is connected with the transition to the Gregorian calendar. Despite the fact that more than a century we live in the Julian calendar, Ukrainians still observe the holy Ukrainian traditions.
   Children from Kherson boarding school named by T. Shevchenko were no exception, because January 13 to congratulate them came Charity Fund of Ustin Maltsev and students-activists from Kherson Economics and Law Institute (KELI). For junior and preparatory group they held Christmas party with Santa Claus, Snow Maiden and, of course, presents. But children from boarding school were able to surprise visitors. In spite of such an early age (3-5 years), children know a lot of poems and songs. This indicates the tremendous work of educators, who were able to create for children a friendly atmosphere of the large family. Here every child is not a stranger. To each child, teachers are paying attention, care and love, that baby so badly needed at this age.
   But think about the fate of children also other people, who help to create comfortable conditions for spiritual and physical development of young Ukrainians. For junior and preparatory group for the means of Kherson philanthropists purchased sports equipment and a television. And right before the New Year in Kherson boarding school named by T. Shevchenko by team of Station of Technical Service "Universal" was purchased a beautiful New Year tree. For children it was the most coveted surprise!

   It should be noted that the boarding school named by T. Shevchenko is practicing a system of patronage. That's mean, that each group or class has his boss (philanthropist), who provides financial assistance. Every year in the autumn, each class invites his boss in the "guests", for whom they show concerts. But in addition to system support, anyone can lend their support: material or spiritual.
   - I am very pleased, that we receive help, not for "PR". Most people who help, ask us not to say their names or positions. It's nice that youth take care about the children. So, in their eighteen-nineteen years they realize, that instead of a bottle of beer and a pack of cigarettes is much better to give for child from orphanage warm socks and chocolate. - Said Natalia Bogdanova, educator of Kherson boarding school named by T.    Nobody cannot disagree with the words of Natalia. So, helping orphans, you get much more in return. What is you cannot measured in any bank notes or in carats! These are spiritual wealth, moral education and inner development.
