Charity Fund of Ustin Maltsev is supported intellectual youth

   February 28, 2012 was held a presentation and awarding the best diploma works of students of higher educational institutions of the city who took part in the Fourth city competition of diploma works "The City and the Science". This competition allows to draw the attention of young professionals to the real problems of the city and the region and helps to the preparation of highly qualified professionals.
   According to organizers, the project has already brought results:
- Last year, there was a very interesting work, which is then received a patent. The work was about the reinforced concrete beams. When we have defense of such work, we invite experts who with a professional point of view could to assess the need for such a project. - Said Anna Parfenova, head of Kherson city public organization "Rozvitok".

   This year, one of the partners of this project "The City and Science" was Ustin Maltsev. With his support, young professionals were awarded with diplomas and valuable prizes. "I am deeply convinced that the intelligence of our nation is one of the core values and heritage of a people, which we need to start to appreciate, support and develop. Knowledge and achievements of young people today, is the state of our country tomorrow"- commented his position about this project Ustin Maltsev.
This project was supported by mayor of Kherson Vladimir Saldo, Zoya Berezhnaya, secretary of Kherson city council, Cherevko Sergey, deputy of mayor. Bebko Ivan, a famous entrepreneur of Kherson, awarded all students who took the first place.
   In the IV competition "City and Science" attended five city higher educational institutions who applied for the competition 47 diploma works on the following directions:
- Development of local government and the state
- Development of regional economy and business
- Development of industry
- Development of marine technology and transportation
- Development of agriculture
- Development and implementation of energy saving technologies
- Development of information systems and technologies
- Improvement of technology.
   The increasing of levels of diploma works shows the importance of this project, which promotes of youth development, involvement its potential to solve the problem of the city and region.

Youth in modern society

   On the Kherson regional state TV-channel "Skyfia" December 24, 2011 in Live hosted the program "Orthodox Perspective". Topic: "Youth in modern society".
Program was held by Lydia Grigorieva, Father Eugene Sidorenko and Father Oleg Stetsyuk (leading internet studio). As a guest was invited Ustin Maltsev, director of the Charity Fund, and public figure. His opinion is respected because Ustin Maltsev well aware of the problems of youth.
   - Young people at the moment have three main problems. First, it is an education that is not effective. Second, employment after studies are not stable and no future. And, thirdly, there is no affordable social housing, which makes it impossible to create a complete family - said Ustin.
   Also in the programme was attended by representatives of the Orthodox youth club "Sunday", whose goal is to bring together all young people, communication and most importantly - to prove that "being religious - it's cool".
   The scheme of the program included communication with the audience. In the studio received a huge number of calls from viewers, but, unfortunately, the time to answer all the questions were not enough. Most questions were addressed to Ustin Maltsev. Here are a few of them...

-The basis of any movement, work or serving is the ideology. What is your ideology of life, your philosophy of life?
I'm not first, who came to this land. I'm not last, who will go. My family will live on this planet. I don't care, what shall be after me! In nature, everything has to be connected, must be the circuit. It's no secret that we live in global consumption. This system is utopian. It will lead to the destruction of our civilization, if our society doesn't come to its senses. Therefore, service and surrendering is a natural need, like food and water.
-You are a young man, a successful businessman. What caused to create of a charitable foundation?
For me, charity - is a process of self-knowledge, self-control and self-development. Charity - it is a process of systematic and transparent responsibility and assistance. It is impossible to do business, politics or social activity without understanding and not knowing what are responsibility, openness and honesty.
- How can the youth culture grows up, educates, if we do nothing to create for the education of young people? Where available sports clubs, music schools, clubs of interests? Young people think about the Internet, beer and nightclubs.
There are available sports clubs in our country. Another problem that young people don't want to go there. It's a question more deeply. When on the TV show beautiful boys and girls with cigarettes and beer. Beautiful clubs, glamorous parties, and the Internet with fully available pornography. And this is already catastrophic systematic. Whatever would we tell to children or young people - will be no result! This is a problem of national character. It can only be solved at the state level - by adding new public attitudes to human, nature, society, the universe together.
Young people today - is the state of our country in 10-20 years. If the system of education does not begin to put the methodological development of new knowledge and self-education process, then our society will never emerge from the crisis period.
