Ustin Maltsev’s fund will help to save a precious showpiece of the museum

  In June the staff of Kherson regional museum of local lore asked the Charity fund of Ustin Mlatsev to help them with raising funds for the restoration of an arm-chair in the style of Louis XVI which dates back to the end of XVIII century. The government hasn't given funds to the museum for the restoration; therefore they decided to raise the money for saving the historic masterpiece on their own initiative and with the help of the charity fund. It was put a cash-box for collecting money where all who care can make their small contribution for saving the precious exhibit.
  The arm-chair is in bad condition and needs urgent restoration. What is needed: renewal of the construction, putting a layer of gilding and changing of the upholstery. The restoration will be made in Odessa branch of the National scientific and research restoration centre of Ukraine. The cost of work and materials is 5000 hrivnas. 
 
  We must remember and value things that history left us, as these things will be the heritage of our children!
