“Dnipro Palette” opened the regional exhibition of folk art

   On July 12 the Regional union of masters of folk art "Dnipro Palette" the chairman of which is Chernenko Oleg Mihailovich, opened a grand exhibition of folk art. The exhibition is held in Kherson regional art museum of Shovkunenko and occupies three large halls. More than 200 masters of folk art, professionals and beginners, from all the parts of our iridescent Kherson region present their works here. It is the tenth regional exhibition made by "Dnipro Palette". Masters from all the parts of our region present their works in all the genres of folk art. These are embroidery, carving, macramé, motanka dalls, pottery, forging and so on. Every work is a masterpiece.     "Unfortunately, the Union doesn't have its own premises to hold numerous exhibitions and naturally we have to ask museums, cultural centers, and exhibition halls to organize shows of folk art there. Taking into consideration the number of participants, it is around 100 persons, we had to ask the Regional art museum of Shovkunenko as they have much space for holding creative events. The most cherished goal of all the masters of the Union of Kherson region is to have the most important spiritual segment, the museum of folk lore of our land. Such a museum will give an opportunity to hold joint creative projects at a high professional level" told Oleg Chernenko, chairman of the Regional union of masters of folk art "Dnipro Palette".     Many people came to visit this excellent show. There were craftsmen whose works were exhibited, honored artists and Vladimir Chuprina, the chairman of the Union of artists of Kherson region.

   Ustin Maltsev, a friend of the Union, philanthropist and a public figure was also present at the opening of the exhibition. He also supports the idea of improving the spiritual development of Kherson region.     "Every work is a masterpiece. One cannot give here preference to a definite work as it has its own energetic, vision of its painter. We only should enjoy, feel and take that energetic which is good for every of us. The main treasure of Ukraine is intellect and spirituality of our Slavic nation. And we can see all this energetic and power in these works. We must necessarily support this at the governmental level as if we don't do this today, we will not have any culture or spirituality tomorrow", - said Ustin Maltsev, the head of the nominal Charity fund, public figure and philanthropist.   
Information. The Union was organized in the end of 2009. The main goal the Union is increase and strengthening of creative potential in Kherson region and uniting of all masters into one powerful and friendly union for joint holding of exhibitions, festivals, shows, contests and other creative projects. "Dnipro Palette" Union is named in the honor of a famous painter of Kherson region - Kurnakov Georgiy Vasilyevich who was the creator and initiator of this union in the time of the Soviet Union. It included many talented masters who became later the painters of the highest level and participants of republic and international exhibitions. Now "Dnipro Palette" Union has continued the work of the famous painter.
