In August 2012, the chair and the armchair from the XIX century collection of M. Kornilovskaya were
examined by restorers from the National Research Centre. This artifacts
are situated in The Kherson Regional
Art Museum
of Shovkunenko.
The Museum
turned
to the Ustin
Maltsev
fund
to help in the
restoration and
transportation
of valuable
items.
The workers from the fund said that the project "Save the cultural heritage for future generations" will help to restore the exhibits in the near future, and all of our museum visitors will enjoy the beauty of precious furniture.
"The museum named after Shovkunenko has an unique variety of art works. Many items require restoration. We will make every effort to preserve the cultural heritage of Kherson and transmit the historical culture to the future generations "- said the social activist, Ustin Maltsev
