Project - Charitable Ukraine

  The celebration of benefactors holds on: National competitive selection "Charitable Ukraine - 2013".
  Benefactors who have helped in solving actual public problems during the period of 1st January till 31 of December 2013 can participate in this competition. It can be charitable projects (initiatives) which realization (completely or partly) were made in definite period: public authorities, which at this period has been holding activity aimed on developing and supporting of charity in Ukraine, people who gets charitable help, mass media representatives.

  For taking part in competition you should submit contest application of appropriate form which can be got on web-site Charitable Association of Ukraine www.vboabu.org.ua, official competition website www.blagoukraine.org or by request on the following address.konkurs.blago@gmail.com. Competition application can be filled online on official competition website www.blagoukraine.org. The filled application must be sent on email konkurs.blago@gmail.com . Photos, publications, reviews, recommendations and so on, which characterize activity of well-doer or process of project realization (authorities) are desired to be added to application.

 The winners of competition "Charitable Ukraine - 2013" will be defined in general 11 and 3 special nominations.
 1. Benefactor: company - big business.
 2. Benefactor: company - medium business.
 3. Benefactor: small business (including natural person - businessman)
 4. Benefactor: natural person.
 5. Benefactor: natural person- star of business, sport, art.
 6. Benefactor: national Ukrainian (including international) charitable fund (organization).
 7. Benefactor: regional charitable fund (organization).
 8. Benefactor: non-governmental organization.
 9. Benefactor: childish or youth organization'
 10. Public benefactor.
 11. Charitable year stock.
 Special nominations:
 1. Effective using of charitable help.
 2. Charity in media.
 3. Innovations in charity.

  The winners will be chosen by National Contest committee, except nominations of" Public benefactor" and "Charity in media", where to definite winners special procedure is set.
  The announcement competition results will take part during festive ceremony of rewarding winners in Kiev in March 2014. The winners are rewarded with special symbols and other prizes set by partners of competition.
  The last term of submitting competitive application - 10th of February.

Gifts from St. Nicholas for orphans

   December 18, 2011 in hall of Kherson state home of artistic creativity hosted dramatized representation to day St. Nikolas for orphans and children from incomplete families from Kherson and Kherson region.
   Students from Kherson State University speaking at holiday opened doors in fairytale for children. In the scene were snowmen, angels and devils and St. Nicholas. You even could see lights in happy children's eyes. Not every day they get enough care, affection and attention.
Involve children in the fairytale helped the interactive game "pass the ball" in which children had to pass the ball to each other from first to last row. Then the heroes of fairytales offered to children say what kind, gentle and courteous words they know. You could heard: "Mother," "love," "Thank you" ... It is unfortunate that children simply have nobody, who can give gifts on St. Nicholas Day.
Such event could not have happened if not support and financing fund "Anastasis" and Kherson city council members, who by own force showed for children that a miracle is.
   - We will carry on throughout the year such action. We have Christmas and we will held an action for orphans ... Also we plan to held an action to Mother's day (8 May) to Day of Kids protection (1 June) ... Now, in cooperation with the "Anastasis" we collect clothes for the orphans. - Said Victor Gavrilyuk, member of city council.
   The real surprise was the sweet gifts for all kids, which were waiting for them after the show. There was also an excursion to St. Catherine's Cathedral which was led by Father Sergei, chairmen of the "Anastasis".
Ustin Maltsev, head of the Charity Fund, came to support the event:
   - Should there be such an event? Of course, yes, and as often as possible! For children it is important attention and communication, toys cannot replace it. Children's happiness - priceless! It is a pledge for building a correct child's mind. Children - the future of our society and if we want to live in a peaceful and stable country, we must pay attention and care for children.
