  The celebration of benefactors holds on: National competitive selection "Charitable Ukraine - 2013".
  Benefactors who have helped in solving actual public problems during the period of 1st January till 31 of December 2013 can participate in this competition. It can be charitable projects (initiatives) which realization (completely or partly) were made in definite period: public authorities, which at this period has been holding activity aimed on developing and supporting of charity in Ukraine, people who gets charitable help, mass media representatives.

Orphans met with Yuri Kuklachev

December 21 in Kherson in CH "Jubileinyi" show held Theater of Cats of Yuri Kuklachev. In the performance was attended by about 45 animals (in Moscow, in this production involved 70 cats). Cats rode on skateboards, bicycles, jumped from great heights and overcame various obstacles. Despite what many people think that cats can not be taming, Yuri Kuklachev not only proved the opposite, but the presentation was showed with the participation of their pets in many countries. Thanks to him was opened theatre of cats in Moscow, which has no analogues in the world. The charitable foundation of Ustin Maltsev organized the visit of the show Theatre of Cats Yuri Kuklachev for 20 children from orphanages in the city of Kherson and Kherson region. New Year celebrations in Tsyurupynsk boarding

In Tsyurupynsk specialized secondary boarding school I-II levels of Kherson Regional Council held a special event. For younger students teachers and school officials arranged a holiday of the New Year. Also at the festival was invited the Foundation of Ustin Maltsev  , which each year takes an active part in the spiritual and physical development of children, as well as in the improvement of the institution.
Children  prepared a puppet theater. Dolls for the performance the kids made ​​their own hands with the teacher. This is not the first idea that children show students, teachers and guests boarding.
Representatives of the Fund did not come empty handed. For small children was conducted  a performance of students from the National University of Shipbuilding. After the concert of children in the form of a game show their talents, for which they received gifts that were collected during the action "Be an Angel Goodness  for orphans." Thanks to the good hearts of the inhabitants of the city, in a boarding school was handed a lot of toys, books, designers, children's art items (paint, pencils, sketch, clay) and clothing.

Donated blood is very necessary for children of Kherson!

In the charitable foundation Ustin  Maltsev asked parents of sick children with the disease: cancer and blood. Donated blood is necessary for the Department of Oncology and Hematology  in  Kherson Regional Children's Hospital. Children undergo chemotherapy, primarily fall tests blood for their uplift and continue to the next block to pour the blood chemistry or manufacturing products based on blood, without it can not be disinfected. Bank blood transfusion is almost empty (very few people come to donate blood) and they are asking donors to give children, but in the department treats many children's homes, as well as from all over the Kherson region, who can not lead donors.

Raising funds for the rehabilitation of Maxim Nalivkin is closed!

Every little helps and gathered the required amount. The project is raising funds for the rehabilitation of Maxim Nalivkin closed!

Thanks Charity Fund  of Ustin Maltsev since  September 2011 was organized the  raising funds. Joint efforts of residents of Kherson region, Ukraine as a whole, Russia, Belarus, as well as philanthropists and abroad have gathered the necessary amount. Also were collected funds through online social networks and cash boxes are installed in stores.

Originally, was chosen  the German clinic that  gave an account  for rehabilitation of  Maxim 107,528.00 euro. In turn, after lengthy negotiations failed to make allowances for carrying out services to 54,000.00 euro.

Remind that on the 6th   of  March , 2010 Maxim suffered acute stroke and after three operations. On  the 11^th  of  August 2010 the boy was diagnosed "Consequences of acute hemorrhage in the left hemisphere of the brain. Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH). Spastic tetraparesis - diskineticheskih with dysfunction of the pelvic organs. "Boy spent five months in a coma, underwent eight operated bedsores. Now Maxim is located in Germany and is a complex treatment.

EC "Amigo" in conjunction with the charity foundation "Ustin Maltsev" held social charity "Make a holiday for children." For years, the action is taking place in Kherson, it is dedicated to the new year. The action aims to collect and pass toys, stationery, educational games and more in the New Year with the children's homes.
Children's homes are not fortunate enough to know how to be the center of a small universe called family. For many, the words mom and dad are extremely abstract meaning. They never seen people whose little creative abilities have been just enough to make them into the light. Someone rainbow world of childhood with your loving family deprived accident or illness.
Nobody will be able to return to these children that they so unjustly lost: the care, love and warmth. But to give them something, let this material, such banal, is immeasurably small, toys, sweets, clothes, something that will make them joyful surprise-eyed and laughing carefree children's laughter, at least for a minute forgetting about how they cheated life - the power of each.
The "Make a holiday for children" took place in stages. The first step was a charity concert during which acted talents of our city: the finalists show "Ukraine Got Talent" Fantastic Four, singers, dance groups. During the rally also held an auction in which children exhibited work with the Kherson regional boarding school № 1. TG Shevchenko. Pendants, earrings, key chains, magnets made ​​of polymer clay were sold to everyone in a fair fight for each lot. The next night in RK "Amigo" a charity disco - "Big Kids Party" ("Party adult children"). The main condition - the entrance to the toys, which visitors left for the children from orphanages.
All that had been collected during the event will be sent to children's homes, kids as Christmas and New Year gifts.

Urgent to rescue Lera Dumbrava!

  9 year old Lera Dumbrava from birth is suffering from S-shaped left-thoracolumbar kyphoscoliosis 4 degrees. With such a diagnosis is difficult to live as chest presses on all the internal organs and legs. Lera is growing with each passing day, her health  is deteriorating. «The Saints Nicholas travels Ukraine»

 
December 3 at the Press Club "New Day", a meeting dedicated to the start of the annual charity event, "Holy Nicholas travels With Ukraine", which takes place in the Kherson region. During a press conference announced the highlights and features of the celebration of St. Nicholas for small citizens of Kherson and parents this year.  
To the organization of events dedicated to the holiday, in the Kherson region joined by many volunteers, representatives of city, regional authorities, public organizations, and students the Faculty of Culture and Arts of Kherson State University. According to Deputy Mayor Kherson Sergei Cherevko, the authorities have already provided for the purchase in 1930 of sweet gifts for the children. This year, some of these gifts will be "unsweetened." 30 sets of imported and specially designed for children who suffer from diabetes.  
In general, in the Kherson will be organized one festival and one citywide event . The main feature of the celebration is that this year will be a charity and is led educational point: children who take part in the celebration, will make and collect toys for children with disabilities and other vulnerable children categories.

Online store "baby" and Kherson Oblast Cat Club of America "Ortus" last week held an International Cat Show "Pearl Tavria" - RUI Cat Show, under - XVI Open Championship of Ukraine, the season 2012-2013.   The event took place in the shopping center "Admiral".
The event was attended by representatives from all over Ukraine. Make a holiday exhibition of nature and the beauty for all citizens of Kherson.  
Fund Ustin Maltsev, together with the organizers invited to the event children from children's homes and the "Regional Centre for Environmental and naturalistic art students." Children had a tour and talked about the species and types of cats. Most importantly, the kids understand for themselves - that is what is necessary to protect and preserve the cats, because they are our smaller brethren.

The German Clinic will make allowances for the rehabilitation of Kherson boy

All in Kherson heard the story about  Maxim Nalivkin who needs a comprehensive rehabilitation therapy. In 2010, Maxim suffered acute stroke and was diagnosed "Consequences of acute hemorrhage in the left hemisphere of the brain. Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH).  At this point, foundation representatives Ustin Maltsev said it planned to close the project for a month to raise funds at the beginning of  December to send Maxim Nalivkin to Germany for  awaited recovery.

Help Alexei Dishlov stand on legs!

Alexey Dishlov (15 years) diagnosed with bone cancer. Since April, the child began to complain of pain in the left leg. He was diagnosed with a "disease Shlyattera" and said to warm the affected area. By late summer, the pain intensified and appeared limp.
After long surveys in September doctors pronounced the verdict - osteogenic sarcoma of the tibia. Childhood cancer in our time - no penalty. But the treatment is long and expensive.
One course of chemotherapy is from 2000 to 11000 UAN. These courses will have no less than 14.
 Also needs surgery to replace the diseased bone endoprosthesis.
Proper size prosthesis costs around 160000 UAH. Since the treatment the child requires around the clock care, the mother had to quit from her job,  works only father.

Holiday social worker in Tsyurupynsk boarding

On  the 2^nd of November in Tsyurupynsk orphanage for disabled children was a real treat. On the eve of the Day of social workers  foster-children with teachers prepared a magnificent concert. Children, who are deprived of parental care and attention, with such warmth gave singing and dancing  for their caregivers and for all at a boarding school.

The concert program was held in the form of a talk show, "All will be well." Lead did not let anyone get bored, and in turn caused educators, who in turn gave valuable advice. Here, for example, how quickly and accurately put clothes on how to conduct exercises at his desk, in your home or do laundry detergent.

 Between valuable advices sounded musical pauses. The guys in wheelchairs with great diligence sang, danced and played musical instruments. Impressions stayed on for life. These little kids, but they  very try - real artists.

Fund Ustin Maltsev visited Tsyurupinsk boarding

  Last week, representatives of the Foundation Ustin Maltsev in Tsyurupynsk visited kids in a boarding school, where he organized a small concert. This event marked the end of the school first quarter of 2012, the children went on a vacation in a good mood and with the same back.
  The event was dedicated to topics of dolls, which gave the name "the dolls' therapy." Pupils with educators in the audience showed the puppet show, where all the dolls were made by their hand. After that, all dipped in a little history about the dolls, as well as where they got their roots. Was held game "Be a doll," where everyone present could feel of the real doll, depicting motion of puppet.
  Representatives of the Fund made a small gift for children, organized together with the volunteers of dance center URBAN VIBES small masterclass, where the girls told the history of a dancing, spoke about their style, showed the basic movements and of course, danced together.
  After the event, the Charity Fund Ustin Maltsev in Tsyurupinsk orphanage was transferred: pens, notebooks, books, pencil sharpeners, pens, ballpoint, sketch drawing, brushes, discs, educational games, games for motor development of children.
  All things have been collected by the people of Kherson in the social and charity project "Help the abandoned child."

The Ustin Maltsev Foundation supported the "Brain Ring"

 

 On the 19^th of  October  in Kherson school № 23 took II game "Brain Ring", which was attended by teams from schools № 23, № 53, № 1, Lyceum of journalism and law LZHEP.

 The theme of the game was chosen "General history of Kherson." This theme was not chosen by accident, because it helps students to plunge deeper into the history of his native land, and discover something new for themselves. The game was very interesting, each team acclaimed support group and a band of school № 27 with the creative team LZHEP.

   It is a true holiday in the building of Kherson social organization of invalid children's mothers "Mother's heart". It doesn't happen every day that people come, those who are ready to understand the existing problem and, moreover, to solve it. 
   Today a festive handover of specialized wheel-chairs for disabled children (Down's syndrome, Cerebral Palsy) was held in the presence of the head of the social organization "Mother's heart" Bondar Valentina Alexandrovna. 
   "Our organization helps invalid children with Cerebral Palsy and Down's syndrome to become closer to the social environment, to adapt in it. Parents', our children's and teachers' power that keeps us all together, unites their souls and hearts. Due to financial sponsors' support, we can see the final goal, i.e. help for sick children. We wish that the society gave more attention to this problem. It would make the procedure of helping faster. We thank you all on the behalf of teachers' team, parents' committee and our children for understanding, support and help", - told Bondar Valentina Alexandrovna, the head of the public organization "Mother's heart". 
   At the event, where specialized equipment and wheel-chairs were given to disabled children, such people were present: a priest Sergij, the head of the department of social help and charity of Kherson epiphany of Ukrainian Patriarch Church, Rudenko Bogdan Sergeevich, director of the regional centre of the social service for family, children and youth, and the head of the Charity fund Ustin Maltsev.

   The head of social help and charity department of Kherson epiphany of Ukrainian Patriarch Church, priest Sergij said: "We consider that God influences through such children on other people, so that they were kinder, expressed their feelings of love and charity to those they love. We have an opportunity, with the help of our partners, foreign churches, to give this equipment to Ukrainian children. But its transfer also costs money, because human labor must be paid. We didn't have money to transfer this equipment and we asked Ustin Maltsev's fund to help us. We asked for assistance many people but not so many people want to give money for charity. It is very pleasant that the workers of Ustin Maltsev's fund are our constant partners who help us whenever possible to make those fundamental important things that are very useful". 
   Kherson social organization "Mother's heart" leads very important, psychologically difficult activity, i.e. rehabilitation of invalid children with various deficiencies in psychological development (Down's syndrome and Cerebral Palsy). It unites families, protects children's rights with physical and psychological deficiencies as well as their parents' rights. 
"The most important thing is that today philanthropists, public organizations, society start working as one mechanism for achievement of their charity goals. I have to say that this category of children is very serious and not many organizations want to help and support them. But we know that we don't have to divide children for "our" children and "somebody's" children. And it is our task in this charity union to start systemic work with this group of children, to facilitate their comfortable life with us", - told Ustin Maltsev, the head of the charity fund.

Charitable dolphin therapy

   From 23.04.2012 till 04.05.2012 Anton Dushinov, due to the support of Ustin Maltsev's fund, underwent the course of dolphin therapy in Donetsk dolphinarium. 
As we informed before, a terrible trouble happened in the family of Vladimir and Natalia Dushinov from Vladimirovka village in Donetsk region. In the course of delivery a child one of the twins suffered. Subsequently it was made a diagnosis - Cerebral Palsy.
   The course of dolphin therapy that he underwent influenced positively the child. During the course the child adapted completely: he made contact with dolphins, stroked them with his hands, feet, he was sitting and lying on them, he was swimming and listened to the noises that them made. After the course the child became more attentive, observational, he tries now to show better his emotions, feelings of happiness, displeasure. He answers the questions with his look and emotions.

   We are very grateful to those who are sympathetic to our trouble! We thank you a lot for the opportunity to continue the treatment of our son! 
In October of 2012 Antoshka needs to undergo the course of dolphin therapy again. For Dushinov family it is a too big amount because one day of dolphin therapy costs 640 hrivnas. The child needs to undergo it 10 more times.

Kherson celebrated Children’s day!

   On the 1st of June the whole country celebrated the International children's day. The holiday was also supported by the citizens of Kherson. Wonderful concerts where children's vocal and dancing groups participated were held near the Drama theatre of N.Kulish and were further continued at the Palace of culture and creativity (DKT). The concert started at 14.00 and finished late in the evening. It was a real show! "Young talents" of Kherson pleased all the citizens of Kherson with their dances and songs. The concert was animated by festive flash mobs. Classic vocal and pop studio "Debut" congratulated all the spectators. A dancing studio "Chu-Style Dance Company" prepared their unique concert program. Children and young people, while waiting for their turn, rehearsed just in the parks close to the Drama theatre. This made the impression of even greater mass scale and everybody's involvement in the celebration. Charismatic leaders of the concert kept the spectators excited all the time and didn't give them a chance to be bored. 
   Visitors of the show were entertained by different contests, attractions in the square at the Drama theatre. It was organized a fair with unique handmade things. Young people on stilts and jumpers towered over the crowd and attracted true attention. It was put a small swimming pool not far away from the stage and everybody willing could wallow in the water inside a bid water sphere. An entertaining contest - wrestling with pillows - was also popular. It was an excellent game for children full of energy and good mood.

   After 18.00 the celebration of Children's day moved to a different district of the town, to the square near DKT. Dancing and vocal groups of the Palace of culture showed the high grade in their performances. Yatsenko Vladimir Ivanovich, the director of the regional Palace of youth, congratulated all children as well as all the visitors of the concert. He is a well-known man of art, having resonant beautiful voice, sang several songs that everyone knew. This was the reason of loud applause. 
   Both events, near the regional Drama theatre and in the square at the Palace of culture, were supported by the Charity fund of Ustin Maltsev. The head of the fund, Ustin Maltsev, congratulated all children. "Children are our future, thus, the more we invest into their health, development and upbringing, the better, stable and optimistic future we provide for all of us", - told Ustin Maltsev and gave festive presents to all the participants of groups as well as to all the solo performers. Children were very happy as not every day they can get so many presents as on this holiday - Children's day.
