Every little helps and gathered the required amount. The project is raising funds for the rehabilitation of Maxim Nalivkin closed!

Thanks Charity Fund  of Ustin Maltsev since  September 2011 was organized the  raising funds. Joint efforts of residents of Kherson region, Ukraine as a whole, Russia, Belarus, as well as philanthropists and abroad have gathered the necessary amount. Also were collected funds through online social networks and cash boxes are installed in stores.

Originally, was chosen  the German clinic that  gave an account  for rehabilitation of  Maxim 107,528.00 euro. In turn, after lengthy negotiations failed to make allowances for carrying out services to 54,000.00 euro.

Remind that on the 6th   of  March , 2010 Maxim suffered acute stroke and after three operations. On  the 11^th  of  August 2010 the boy was diagnosed "Consequences of acute hemorrhage in the left hemisphere of the brain. Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH). Spastic tetraparesis - diskineticheskih with dysfunction of the pelvic organs. "Boy spent five months in a coma, underwent eight operated bedsores. Now Maxim is located in Germany and is a complex treatment.

Parents  of Maxim  Nalivkin and  Foundation  of Ustin Maltsev express gratitude to all those who extended a helping hand, supported and helped to raise funds for the treatment of Maxim. Thanks to each of us, life  of little citizen of  Kherson is going on!

NC Amigo Foundation and Ustin Maltsev do good together

EC "Amigo" in conjunction with the charity foundation "Ustin Maltsev" held social charity "Make a holiday for children." For years, the action is taking place in Kherson, it is dedicated to the new year. The action aims to collect and pass toys, stationery, educational games and more in the New Year with the children's homes.
Children's homes are not fortunate enough to know how to be the center of a small universe called family. For many, the words mom and dad are extremely abstract meaning. They never seen people whose little creative abilities have been just enough to make them into the light. Someone rainbow world of childhood with your loving family deprived accident or illness.
Nobody will be able to return to these children that they so unjustly lost: the care, love and warmth. But to give them something, let this material, such banal, is immeasurably small, toys, sweets, clothes, something that will make them joyful surprise-eyed and laughing carefree children's laughter, at least for a minute forgetting about how they cheated life - the power of each.
The "Make a holiday for children" took place in stages. The first step was a charity concert during which acted talents of our city: the finalists show "Ukraine Got Talent" Fantastic Four, singers, dance groups. During the rally also held an auction in which children exhibited work with the Kherson regional boarding school № 1. TG Shevchenko. Pendants, earrings, key chains, magnets made ​​of polymer clay were sold to everyone in a fair fight for each lot. The next night in RK "Amigo" a charity disco - "Big Kids Party" ("Party adult children"). The main condition - the entrance to the toys, which visitors left for the children from orphanages.
All that had been collected during the event will be sent to children's homes, kids as Christmas and New Year gifts.

Urgent to rescue Lera Dumbrava!

  9 year old Lera Dumbrava from birth is suffering from S-shaped left-thoracolumbar kyphoscoliosis 4 degrees. With such a diagnosis is difficult to live as chest presses on all the internal organs and legs. Lera is growing with each passing day, her health  is deteriorating. Required emergency surgery, during which she is putted  implants for fixation of the spine, which will help her  to align your back and return to the tone of the internal organs.

Charity concert for Arishka

In early December 2012, the restaurant "Platon" by a group of "Sleepless City" and the Foundation "Ustin Maltsev" held a charity concert in support Arishka Svorinoy.
8.11.12 in TC "Admiral" was an accident: 3-year Arish fell from the third to the first floor, flying through the hole between the escalator and the railing. Daily need expensive drugs.
 In a charity concert featured musical group: "Sleepless City", "The Roadsters", "ORM" (music band), "Cha-Cha Band", "Soul-band".
During a concert in the hall were cash-boxes for the collection agent or all the participants and guests of the concert have been actively involved in filling boxes. At the end of the event organizers together with a representative of the fund "Ustin Maltsev" announced that it was collected in 1300 UAH. The collected amount of fund transferred Arishka parents to purchase medicines that are necessary now Arisha.

Orphans visited the exhibition of cats "Pearl of Tavria"

 
Online store "baby" and Kherson Oblast Cat Club of America "Ortus" last week held an International Cat Show "Pearl Tavria" - RUI Cat Show, under - XVI Open Championship of Ukraine, the season 2012-2013.   The event took place in the shopping center "Admiral".
The event was attended by representatives from all over Ukraine. Make a holiday exhibition of nature and the beauty for all citizens of Kherson.  
Fund Ustin Maltsev, together with the organizers invited to the event children from children's homes and the "Regional Centre for Environmental and naturalistic art students." Children had a tour and talked about the species and types of cats. Most importantly, the kids understand for themselves - that is what is necessary to protect and preserve the cats, because they are our smaller brethren.  
Catherine Belokon, representative of Ustin Maltsev, said: "The love of living necessary to inculcate a child, as a key to the harmonious development of the individual. Kiddies must spend more time with nature and animals, rather than sit at the TV and the computer.”

In Kherson was 5th International Tournament Alexandr Beresh

 
December 1-2 in Kherson specialized educational complex sports profile "Boarding School II-III degree - Higher School of Physical Education" culture was 5 International Gymnastics Tournament in memory of Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine Alexandr Beresh. This sporting event was supported by the Regional Charity Foundation of Alexandr Beresh, the governor of Kherson oblast Nikolai Kostiuk and Fund of Ustin Maltsev.   During the opening Svetlana Beresh, a tournament organizer said that if a person has a memory of a close and native, who is not with us - that he has a future. If a person has no memory, it does not have any past or present. I try to do so that my friends and relatives the future has always been. So fond memory of Sasha I was carrying, carry and will carry with pride.   The competition was attended by 30 participants. This adult and youth teams of Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova. Ukraine was represented by athletes from Kiev, Kharkov, Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhye, Kherson and Kirovohrad.
   
Winners in all-around and individual winners in the shells were awarded medals, cups, prizes and gifts from friends tournament.   Also as a cash prize awarded coach Oleg Stepan, a winner in all-around, Netreba PM.   By tradition, a separate prize awarded to the youngest players in the tournament, it was Pantaru Michael (Moldova). This monetary gift was presented by its founder - member of the regional council Kiyanovsky AA. Another special prize awarded to the winner at a favorite projectile Alexandr Beresh - the crossbar.   All coaches and participants received commemorative T-shirts with the logo of the tournament. Before awarding athletes held a competition for the audience to know the history of gymnastics and Tournament. Five winners received gifts from the Kherson Regional Charity Fund of the Alexandr Beresh.   Ustin Maltsev, head of the charity said that the tournament is named Alexandr Beresh, the tournament has become a national scale. Every year the number of participating regions of Ukraine, more and more. Name is Alexandr Beresh hallmark of sports not only in Kherson, and the entire country.  
Reference: Alexandr Beresh - absolute champion of Europe (2000) and the World University (1999), vice-champion (team competitions) and bronze medalist (all-around), the Sydney Olympics. Four times became the winner of the world championships. Multiple winner and winner of the World Cup and national tournaments. He died in a car crash Feb. 29, 2004.

Fund Ustin Maltsev visited Tsyurupinsk boarding

  Last week, representatives of the Foundation Ustin Maltsev in Tsyurupynsk visited kids in a boarding school, where he organized a small concert. This event marked the end of the school first quarter of 2012, the children went on a vacation in a good mood and with the same back.
  The event was dedicated to topics of dolls, which gave the name "the dolls' therapy." Pupils with educators in the audience showed the puppet show, where all the dolls were made by their hand. After that, all dipped in a little history about the dolls, as well as where they got their roots. Was held game "Be a doll," where everyone present could feel of the real doll, depicting motion of puppet.
  Representatives of the Fund made a small gift for children, organized together with the volunteers of dance center URBAN VIBES small masterclass, where the girls told the history of a dancing, spoke about their style, showed the basic movements and of course, danced together.
  After the event, the Charity Fund Ustin Maltsev in Tsyurupinsk orphanage was transferred: pens, notebooks, books, pencil sharpeners, pens, ballpoint, sketch drawing, brushes, discs, educational games, games for motor development of children.
  All things have been collected by the people of Kherson in the social and charity project "Help the abandoned child."

The Ustin Maltsev Foundation supported the "Brain Ring"

 

 On the 19^th of  October  in Kherson school № 23 took II game "Brain Ring", which was attended by teams from schools № 23, № 53, № 1, Lyceum of journalism and law LZHEP.

 The theme of the game was chosen "General history of Kherson." This theme was not chosen by accident, because it helps students to plunge deeper into the history of his native land, and discover something new for themselves. The game was very interesting, each team acclaimed support group and a band of school № 27 with the creative team LZHEP.

Ustin Maltsev’s fund saved the masterpieces of art of Kherson region

   Works of native and foreign painting, graphics, and sculpture, arts and crafts, starting from the samples of Russian icon painting of the 17th century and till the samples of modern Kherson painters. The collection of the museum totals more than 10 000 exhibits, the main part of which needs urgent restoration. It is very sad to realize that one needs enormous costs of time, energy and financial deposits to save these masterpieces of art. Unfortunately, there is no opportunity to make the restoration of the exhibits because of insufficient funding of the museum. The administration of the art museum of Shovkunenko asked the Charity fund of Ustin Maltsev for help for restoration of paintings in 2011. This is when the Charity find and the art museum organized a social charitable project on saving the exhibits of the museum "Let's save the cultural heritage". In the course of this project restorers Tsitovich Darya and Beskrovniy Anatoliy were invited from Kiev. They restored three paintings that are of great value for the museum: Skirgello B. "Harvest", Zagorodnyuk F. "Academician A. Greben", Sizikov V. "Legendary Lioshka".
  "I think that culture and painting are the foundation of spirituality development in our country and society in general. We must realize that it is necessary to support culture as it is the starting point of society development. Unfortunately, natural focus on mutual exchange is lost now. If we don't make contribution into culture, education, process of schooling, the society will come to the deadlock when any development will stop. If you ask me, why I do this, why I help to develop culture, I will tell you that I do this for myself, for my relatives for all Kherson citizens and people who visit Kherson region, for our future and the future of our children", - told Ustin Maltsev, philanthropist, public figure, the head of the Charity fund.

   This is not the end of museum's and fund's cooperation. The project "Let's save the cultural heritage" is held on a regular basis.
   Besides the 3 paintings that were restored before, restorers from Kiev selected 10 more paintings that needed urgent help. If we don't renovate them today, it will lead to complete loss of art masterpieces. With the help of the Fund, the following paintings were restored: Auvazovskiy I. "The storm subsided", Makovskiy V. "Woman's portrait", Sverchkov M. "A dog and a hare", Savrasov A. "Sunset", Rihter G. "Village landscape", "Luke the Evangelist" by a Russian icon painter of the 17th century, Kotlyarov I. "Three riders", Lebedev-Shuyskiy A. "Still life with notes", Grigoryev S. "Young botanist", Stolitsa E. "Seashore".

The Charity fund and the art museum of Shovkunenko will cooperate henceforth for the benefit of cultural development of Kherson region.

Charitable dolphin therapy

   From 23.04.2012 till 04.05.2012 Anton Dushinov, due to the support of Ustin Maltsev's fund, underwent the course of dolphin therapy in Donetsk dolphinarium. 
As we informed before, a terrible trouble happened in the family of Vladimir and Natalia Dushinov from Vladimirovka village in Donetsk region. In the course of delivery a child one of the twins suffered. Subsequently it was made a diagnosis - Cerebral Palsy.
   The course of dolphin therapy that he underwent influenced positively the child. During the course the child adapted completely: he made contact with dolphins, stroked them with his hands, feet, he was sitting and lying on them, he was swimming and listened to the noises that them made. After the course the child became more attentive, observational, he tries now to show better his emotions, feelings of happiness, displeasure. He answers the questions with his look and emotions.

   We are very grateful to those who are sympathetic to our trouble! We thank you a lot for the opportunity to continue the treatment of our son! 
In October of 2012 Antoshka needs to undergo the course of dolphin therapy again. For Dushinov family it is a too big amount because one day of dolphin therapy costs 640 hrivnas. The child needs to undergo it 10 more times.

Orphan children visited a dancing show “Let everybody dance”

   On May 27 a spectacular dancing show "Let everybody dance! Heroes return' was held in Kherson in the cinema and concert hall "Jubileyniy". Organizers of the show gathered there all the winners and participants of previous seasons. Spectaculars and fans of this show had an opportunity to watch their idols and favorite dancers on the stage of our city.
   A concert agency "Alexandr" is the organizer of the show "Let everybody dance! Heroes return' in Kherson. The concert agency "Alexandr" together with the charity fund of Ustin Maltsev organized the attendance of the dancing show for 200 children from orphan houses and kids from families with many children in Kherson and Kherson region.

   "I am very glad that I have an opportunity to make a holiday for kids. We will try to make such events systematic. If one has an opportunity to make good things, he must do them", - this is how Alexandr Solyarchuk, the director of the concert agency "Alexandr" commented on the event.
   Ustin Maltsev, the head of the charity fund said: "Due to social responsibility of business people and the wish to make god things that are intended to support children, we return back and build a stable and strong society".
   Children were very happy, as such a fascinating show, colorful performances of the participants, their calisthenics and grace could not leave spectators indifferent.

Kherson philanthropists helped regional childrenscare clinic

   Children's regional healthcare clinic is the only centre in Kherson region which gives full medical help for the children of all parts of our region. The clinic gives 24-hour urgent surgical, traumatological, reanimation, neurological, pediatric, otolaryngology help for children starting from the first hours of their lives. It fulfills the functions of the hospital of emergency aid. 
   Because of non-sufficient budgetary funding, the clinic always needs help and support. "DANONE" company in cooperation with the fund of Ustin Maltsev have been constant partners of the clinic for several years. Various charity projects were organized during this time. The funds from the projects were transferred for the purchase of medical supplies, as well as for equipping the buildings of the clinic.

   Ustin Maltsev's fund and "DANONE" company bought for the Neurological department this month medical supplies for the amount of 1470 hrivnas (147 Euro). Also plumbing and a sink were installed in the ultrasound room. It was spent 1530 hrivnas (153 Euro) for building materials. It became possible only due to the help of Kherson people who took part in the second annual charity marathon "Run with faith in the heart" which was held in Kherson on September 24, 2011. It was raised then more than 76 000 hrivnas (7600 Euro).
   If only we could know how many children's lives were saved due to the activity of the fund of Ustin Maltsev and "DANONE". One thing is obvious: until kind hearts exist, children's laughter will be heard!

Ustin Maltsev will make a report in the Moscow school of management in Skolkovo

   On 6-7 June, 2012 the first Non-commercial International Business Forum "ONLY TOGETHER" will be held in the Moscow school of management in Skolkovo. It will be devoted to charity and social corporate responsibility. Speakers from the leading world charity organizations, manufacturing giants, businessmen, politicians, mass media representatives and just people who are interested in this problem will share their personal experience.
  Ustin Maltsev will take part and make a report in the discussion of issues raised by the participants of the forum.

The Charity Fund of Ustin Maltsev is concerned about children’s mindset

   Monitoring statistics of the National Board of Ukraine on Telecommunications and Broadcasting states bad condition of TV and radio broadcasting in our country. According to the monitoring data, total breadth of licensed children's broadcasting in Ukraine nowadays is less than 5% from the total daily breadth of the national channels. The president of Ukraine was concerned about this issue, and he encouraged managers of TV channels to cooperation with the interdepartmental working party on development and implementation of the national system of children's protection from deleterious information.
   Ustin Maltsev's fund started development a number of comprehensive approaches on implementation of various educative programs to television. These will be primarily TV and radio programs. Thus, powered by the Charity Fund of Ustin Maltsev, broadcasting or a cartoon "Go, Diego, go!" started on the channel "Kherson Plus".
   The central figure of the cartoon is a cheerful boy Diego who learns much new together with him girl friend in every episode. How to think logically? How to live in harmony with nature? How to find right decisions? What is the shortest way to learn English? Diego will tell you about this all! It is a fact that the cartoon suggests intercommunication with a child. Thus, contact happens between the viewer and the main character of the cartoon. This contributes to better digestion of information.
   Ustin Maltsev commented on his attitude towards children's programs and said that cartoons that they run on TV nowadays are more likely to destroy children's mentality rather than to educate and make their world outlook. One needs to have a serious approach to this issue as educative process in creating child's individuality is the basis of further living of a person and his world outlook in general. The more responsible and attentive the attitude of the government is to the formation of educative and informative programs and methods for children, the more stable and balanced society's development will be.

   A competition on creation of articles on charitable subjects in Ukrainian Wikipedia- «We write about charity» - was held for the first time in Ukraine. A charity event which was held in December 2011 - January 2012, was organized by the Association of philanthropists of Ukraine and social organization "Wikimedia Ukraine".
   On March 1, 2012 organizers and judges summed up results of the competition in the office of an information agency "LigaBusinessInform". Chief executive of the social organization "Wikimedia Ukraine" Yury Peroganich, president of the Association of philanthropists of Ukraine, a chairman of the jury of the competition Alexander Maksimchuk, judges - the chief executive of the Institute of mass media Victoria Syumar and the media expert, Andrey Kulikov, ICTV show presenter took part in the press conference devoted to this event. There were also judges at the ceremony- the Chairman of the Supervisory board of the International Charity Fund «Ukraine 3000» Katerina Yushchenko, the chairman of the Supervisory board of Association of philanthropists of Ukraine, the President of the Welfare fund «Friends of children» Marina Krysa, chief executive of the Research and Information Centre «Gromadsky prostir» Alla Prun, trustees of «Vikimedia Ukraine», Ustin Maltsev, the head of Kherson welfare fund, representatives of the organizations - members of Association of philanthropists of Ukraine and others.
   The competition «We write about charity» started on December 12, 2011 and was timed to coincide with the Day of charity. Till January 29, 2012 all interested people could create or edit articles in Ukrainian Wikipedia explaining concepts and terms connected with charity and corporate social responsibility or tell about Ukrainian and international organizations and individual philanthropists. It was also possible to translate into Ukrainian relevant articles from foreign Wikipedias, adding and improving of already existing articles was admitted.
   Alexander Maksimchuk told that they gave forth to this competition right after the Day of charity and now when they have visible results, he is sure that it was a good decision. He added that they could greatly expand the idea of charity in Wikipedia, draw attention of its authors to this aspect of public life and push to further development of these subjects. According to his words, today charitable sector has to use all possible mechanisms of mass media and is searching for new opportunities of information presenting to draw attention to its activity and development. He accentuated that it is a new huge scope of work creating innovative resources and with their help reaching audience. It is a bright and modern way of positioning of charitable organizations. It is one of the ways of charity development.

   Yury Peroganich said that all who write to Wikipedia are true philanthropists. Thus people endow the knowledge, time and work for the sake of enlightenment of others. He informed that the memorandum between «Wikimedia Ukraine» and the National union of local historians of Ukraine was made the day before. This document provides in particular joint activity and forwarding work of researchers of the native land and editors of Ukrainian Wikipedia as well as holding trainings to draw scientists, museum staff and teachers to editing articles.
   Victoria Syumar marked the high level of articles. She said that she saw many works of a much higher level than one could see in Ukrainian press. Social are deeply investigated, an excellent comparative analysis is made with other countries of the world in particular, an interesting statistics is given. All this shows deep understanding of the subject and from now on all may use this information.
   Andrey Kulikov mentioned that it is not enough to use a computer for putting articles to Wikipedia. It is necessary to have conscience and the certain level of knowledge. He said that he saw many thoughtful and careful works at the competition. It is important not only to fill in the Ukrainian Wikipedia, one has to create articles about Ukraine, its history, culture, achievements in other Wikipedias. Andrey Kulikov added that one of the possible steps of "Wikimedia Ukraine " is supplying with quality articles in foreign languages. Ustin Matsev told his opinion that putting articles about charity in "Wikimedia Ukraine" makes clear and understandable for all citizens of our country what charity actually means. Now it is necessary to pass on to systematic work in this direction.
   Thus during the whole competition 159 articles were processed. 121 articles was accepted for estimation, 109 new and 12 essentially added. Creation and addition of articles carried out 34 authors, some of those registered intentionally in Wikipedia for participation in the competition "We write about charity". Total amount of the added information was more than 2 MB. By the end of the competition 135 articles were created or essentially added from 211 articles in the category "Charity" due to the competition. Thus competition enriched charitable topic in Ukrainian Wikipedia almost three times.
   Valentina Kodola became the winner with significant breakdown - 320,13 points. She won the main prize notebook and the diploma of the winner.
The main award was bestowed by the Chairman of the Supervisory board of Fund "Ukraine 3000" madam Katerina Yushchenko. She thanked for their work, mind, talent, civic mindedness and attitudes. Your work is necessary for millions of users. Madam Katerina said about the importance of such competitions as they push on people to turn to various subjects of public life. She added that there has to be as much as possible of information on museum and historical subjects in Wikipedia.
   Alexander Maksimchuk thanked to all who joined realization of this very interesting project and expressed his hope for continuing of cooperation of Association of philanthropists of Ukraine and "Wikimedia Ukraine".
